L’adjoint au maire, Benoit Payan, a annoncé que la ville de Marseille va prochainement interdire les cirques animaliers. Après Paris, et de nombreuses autre communes en France, Marseille se range du côté des animaux.
Benoît Payan, adjoint au maire de Marseille, a publié une vidéo sur Twitter d’un rhinocéros psychologiquement très troublé en Espagne. L’animal a été enfermé dans un petit enclos, pendant 23 ans, dans un cirque de Valence. Depuis, l’animal ne fait que tourner en rond. Les images sont troublantes, autant que l’état mental de l’animal.
«Ces images sont insoutenables et disent la détresse et la maltraitance que subissent ces animaux. Comme de plus en plus de villes dans le monde, Marseille va s’engager pour la protection animale !» explique l’élu.
