In Montpellier (Hérault), an individual has filed a complaint following the fatal attack on his dog by a group of young people during a walk on Wednesday evening.
An explosion of brutality occurred in Montpellier on Wednesday night. A man, who was looking after the dog of a friend who had been hospitalised for six months, was walking with the animal when three young people approached him.
One of them attacked the man, while the other two violently attacked the dog, an 8-year-old Jack Russell, kicking it. Unfortunately, the animal did not survive its injuries, according to the newspaper Midi Libre.
Following this attack, the man filed a complaint with the police for "aggravated violence" and "serious abuse or cruelty to a domestic or tame animal resulting in death". An investigation is currently underway.
