Un homme agresse violemment son chien dans les rues de Rouen, la police est alertée par des passants

Des témoins ont signalé un propriétaire de chien en train de maltraiter son animal dans la rue Saint-Eloi, au centre-ville de Rouen (Seine-Maritime), le mercredi 15 février 2023, vers 20h40. Les policiers ont été appelés sur les lieux pour intervenir.

Une plaie saignante à la gueule

Lorsqu’ils arrivent sur les lieux, les forces de l’ordre découvrent que l’homme est immobilisé au sol par les témoins qui ont alerté la police. Selon une source judiciaire, ces témoins ont rapporté avoir vu le propriétaire du chien donner plusieurs coups de pied à l’animal.

Le chien impliqué dans l’incident est un American Bully et a une blessure saignante à la gueule. Pendant que la police intervient, le chien est mis à l’écart et est finalement confié aux policiers de la brigade canine qui le transfèrent au refuge de la SNPA (Société Normande de Protection des Animaux) à Rouen.

L’individu violent dégageait une forte odeur d’alcool

Le propriétaire du chien a été arrêté et emmené au commissariat. Âgé de 28 ans, il a indiqué être originaire de Besançon (Doubs) et vivre dans un foyer.

Selon la même source judiciaire, l’homme était sous l’influence de l’alcool. Après avoir été conduit en dégrisement, il a été placé en garde à vue.
