On Tuesday, April 18, an individual was found guilty of mistreating three dogs in Conflans (Yvelines) and received an eight-month suspended prison sentence, a fine of 800 euros and a permanent ban on owning an animal, according to information reported by BFM TV.
The author of the facts admits his guilt
The case began on July 23, 2022, when the municipal police discovered a dog abandoned in the car of the accused, exposed to the sun.
Seven months later, the police intervened again at the respondent's home for acts of cruelty towards another dog. They found that the animal was kept in appalling conditions: locked in a cage in a closet, muzzled and without water. Following this discovery, the dog unfortunately had to be euthanized.
On April 16, a third intervention by the municipal police took place at the individual's home. A third dog was found alive in conditions similar to those of the second animal discovered in March.
During his interrogation, the man admitted his responsibility in these acts of abuse and accepted that the last dog be entrusted to the SPA.
