Un homme condamné à un an de prison ferme pour avoir jeté un chien du 4ème étage dans l’Orne

Le vendredi 17 mars, un homme originaire de l'Orne a été jugé à la cour d'appel de Caen pour avoir jeté son chien du quatrième étage d'un immeuble situé à l'Aigle en août dernier.

Selon le média Tendance Ouest, un jeune homme de 26 ans était jugé en appel le vendredi 17 mars à Caen pour avoir jeté son chien de race Jack Russel du quatrième étage d’un immeuble situé à l’Aigle, dans l’Orne, le 3 août 2022.

Le 3 août 2022, vers 22 heures, une dispute a éclaté entre des voisins dans un appartement du quartier de la Madeleine à L’Aigle. Choqués, les voisins ont appelé la police après que l’homme de 26 ans, en état d’ivresse, aurait jeté son chien de race Jack Russel par la fenêtre du quatrième étage.

Lors de son premier procès, le prévenu avait été condamné à une peine de 15 mois de prison ferme ainsi qu’à des dommages et intérêts à verser aux associations de protection des animaux, telles que l’association Stéphane Lamart qui était partie civile aux deux procès.

Lors de l’audience tenue aujourd’hui, le prévenu a été condamné à une peine de 12 mois de prison ferme. En plus, il s’est vu interdire définitivement de posséder des animaux. Il devra également verser des dommages et intérêts, ainsi que les frais d’avocats des associations de protection des animaux, qui s’élèvent à 10 600 € selon l’association Stéphane Lamart.
