This Friday, March 3, 2023 at 6 am, a family composed of a father and his two children were sleeping peacefully on the second floor of their residence located in the village of Pierres in Valdallière (Calvados). Their sleep was brutally interrupted by their dog who detected a fire in progress at their home. They quickly realized that smoke from the first floor had spread into the house. The electric radiator located under the stairs caught fire.

The father, alerted by his faithful four-legged friend, quickly contacted the fire department. Upon arrival at the scene, the firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and took care of the three occupants of the house, including the father whose face was obscured by smoke fumes and his children. All were transported to the hospital for a thorough medical examination.
Fortunately, thanks to the dog's prompt alert and the quick intervention of the fire department, the family escaped unharmed. Thank you to the faithful companion for his crucial role in this difficult situation.
