Selon le juge, l’interruption des activités de régulation pendant l’état d’urgence sanitaire « a contribué à la croissance de la population de renards ».
Quelque 1 430 renards vont être abattus d’ici 2021 en Seine-Maritime. La justice a rejeté jeudi le recours en référé de l’association de protection de la nature One Voice contre un arrêté préfectoral autorisant l’élimination de ces bêtes, jugées trop nombreuses.
« Le renard voit sa population croître dans le département de la Seine-Maritime dans une proportion significative », estime Patrick Mine, le juge des référés du tribunal administratif de Rouen, contrairement à ce qu’affirme l’association, qui a évoqué « une légère diminution » lors d’une audience mercredi.
