This Monday, the Béziers correctional court opened a case involving a retired couple aged 69 and 70, who are accused of sexual abuse of animals as well as possession of numerous child pornography images. The wrongdoing was allegedly committed between 2002 and 2016, during which time the couple resided in Agde and Maureilhan. The authorities were alerted by a Swiss cyber-police officer after discovering photo exchanges on the internet.
The husband of the couple was responsible for taking pictures, while his wife exhibited herself in obscene zoophilic acts with their golden retriever. The photographic evidence speaks for itself. During their court appearance, the couple claimed not to remember the events in question. However, their memory came back to them when about 30 photos were presented at the hearing among the 800 gigabytes of pornographic data that were recovered.
They did this for fun, because it excited them
The pensioner explained: "It was for fun. He came up with the idea when we were doing naturism. It was fun. And it turned me on." However, during the hearing, the question was raised as to whether having sex with a dog constituted an act of abuse. The couple's lawyer explained that his client had not penetrated the animal. The pensioner said, "Cesar tried to penetrate me, but he didn't succeed.
The debate also focused on the period during which the alleged acts took place. The prosecutor admitted that the charges of animal abuse were time-barred, so no sentence was required against the defendant. However, the defendant's companion faces a sentence of 18 months in prison.
The individual in question was arrogant and dismissive when he appeared in court and claimed to have inadvertently downloaded thousands of images and videos from websites. Although he claims that his account was hacked, his defense failed to convince. It is difficult for the defense to minimize the act of illegally holding photos involving children.
During the hearing, the court was asked whether the photos of the woman, naked with her dog, had been exchanged for pictures of children. However, the investigation could not prove this accusation. The judgment will be rendered on March 6.
