A 42-year-old man has been taken into custody at Strasbourg police station following a violent attack on his cat, as reported by France Bleu. The incident took place last Friday, shortly before noon, on rue du Coucou in Neuhof. The man allegedly put his cat in a bag before trampling it violently.
A woman who witnessed the scene described how the man kicked the animal with great brutality. She then followed the man until the police intervened.
Originally from Armenia, the man will probably have to answer for his actions in court. The Strasbourg SPA has lodged a complaint against him.
