In Montpellier (Hérault), an individual filed a complaint following the fatal attack of his dog by a group of young people during a walk on Wednesday evening.
An explosion of brutality occurred in Montpellier during the night of Wednesday to Thursday. A man, who was taking care of the dog of a friend who had been hospitalized for six months, was walking with the animal when three young people approached him.
One of them attacked the man, while the other two violently attacked the dog, an 8-year-old Jack Russell, kicking it. Unfortunately, the animal did not survive its injuries, according to the newspaper Midi Libre.
Following this aggression, the man filed a complaint with the police for "aggravated violence" and "serious abuse or cruelty to a domestic or tamed animal resulting in death". An investigation is currently underway.
